ABOUT THE ARTWORK

During the 2007-the 2020s, I had Plein Air in Trostyanets - a city in the Sumy region of Ukraine that allowed me to paint its stunning and ponds landscapes. Since then, I have returned every year to absorb the beauty of the ponds and gain inspiration for future work. This series on canvas is of the pond's landscape outside the Count Golitsin's estate of Park area of "Not boring", Trostyanets (Ukraine). In the middle of the forest is a small lake. The brown leaves of the trees are reflected in the calm water. Reflections on the water surface create a picturesque visual world and a magical image of reality. The painting is dedicated to a special moment that is part of a constant change. The park emits an intense romantic mood and is an excellent choice for those seeking relaxation and luxury in a place where history and nature are closely linked.
