Mancini, a Denton native, gained local notoriety through his unique design, a form of tessellating graffiti-style X's and O's (because love may be his only weakness) that he incorporated into murals, canvas art, and more creatively, on vehicles; in one case even completely covering a scooter in his signature squiggles. Since then, he's branched into a unique portrait painting style, photography, and even installation art which has earned him write-ups, nominations, and awards from D Magazine, Dallas Observer, Dallas Morning News, the Dentonite, Art and Seek, The Houston Press, Austin Statesman, San Antonio Current and various news channels and art blogs. As Ron Burgundy would say - he's kind of a big deal… Mancini began his art career to cope with personal struggles. In his words, art is the only thing he can't mess up. With his upbringing art hasn't been looked at as a practical way to make a living, but he refuses to give up on it. He loves the freedom art gives him to express himself and values the reactions of his audience, positive or negative. On one occasion, even printing and displaying prints of the various negative Facebook comments berating his political art. Mancini is always looking for new ways to reinvent himself and evolve as an artist. Opportunity is all around, you just have to go out there and get it. If you want to be an artist, just go be an artist and don't worry about the rest.
