The art piece is called “Grandurs” and it depicts the monkey sitting behind the trash bin eating a pop corn and holding a drink with a plastic straw. The trash container has Grandurs written on it. Grandurs means largeness and bigness. The author wanted to highlight consumerism and consumerist itself who is very often manipulated and guided by primitive mind consuming trash TV, eating trash food, and slowly moving backwards to primates.
