Greece
Maria Sideri, painter and visual artist, was born in 1994 in Athens, Greece. She's working primarily in oil, known for her vivid use of color and evocative symbolism. A graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts with a master’s degree in fine arts, she explores the rich terrain of dreams and the unconscious through a surrealist lens. Her work draws inspiration from emotional states and symbolic imagery. Each painting invites the viewer into a layered world where color becomes emotion, and form suggests deeper psychological narratives. Influenced by both classical and contemporary surrealism, Maria’s style is bold, imaginative, and emotionally resonant. Maria currently lives and works in Greece. Her paintings offer a unique and personal visual language that speaks to both the intuitive and the unknown.
