Greenland Glacier Print

Greenland Glacier is the ninth painting in my series of abstract artworks inspired by my love of acrylic pouring. It was created using bold colours with Paynes Grey with Deep Orange. Contrasting colours often do not mix well in the mediums or just sink to the bottom and hide, but as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression, hours of practice are needed to maintain a good amount of visible yellow which looks great with the dark blue. The greens are "the mud". Art buyers (and art lovers) will see symbolic references to prominent 21st century abstract painters as I offer homage to their artistic vision through my own art.
