Guardian of the Multiverse Print

I'm using powder pigments from original sources used since the Renaissance, using a medium to combine powder with water. First I had painted what appeared as an abstract landscape with suggestions of American Indian symbols. It wasn't satisfactory, I then used the technique I resort to which is to not fear making mistakes, letting go and follow higher intuition impulses spontaneously. Hence, I turned the canvas upside down and where there was a cactus in the middle of the painting, now upside down, I began to see and paint the outline a face, . The lines underneath suggested features, as I "channeled" the portrait of what appears as a cross between an ancient tribal and galactic timeless being. I love the unpredictability of the way higher intuition allows "bleed through" images from beyond the logical minds imposed concept to appear.
