Antonio Abril (Valencia, Spain, 1959) began painting at a very young age and, by the age of 13, had already sold his first artworks. Over the decades, his artistic career has evolved through different fields, moving between figuration and abstraction, while always maintaining a personal style marked by the strength of color, the Mediterranean light, and the poetic expression of forms. His work blends contemporary approaches with a symbolic and emotional depth: stylized portraits inspired by Modigliani, dreamlike scenes, tribal motifs, and abstract compositions where geometry and intuition exist in harmonious dialogue. Antonio conceives each painting as a space for aesthetic experimentation and spiritual search, turning art into a bridge between the intimate and the universal. Today, his work is part of private collections in Europe and America. From his studio in Valencia, he continues to create new series with the same passion that inspired him from the very beginning.
