I am Richa Malik, a College of Art graduate, a passionate artist who constantly strives to create unique and inspiring pieces of artwork. I was born and brought up in India and have lived 46 years of my life there. I am currently based out of Herndon, VA working as an Art Teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools. My art journey began in the womb! Yes, my mother is an artist too and she used to teach art while she was carrying me. That's how my art journey began. I draw inspiration from everything around me - from nature and landscapes to people and cultures. My medium of choice is oils, acrylics, oil pastels and I love experimenting with different colors, textures, and techniques to bring my ideas to life. I have also carved wood, copper enameling, water colours, sketches, embroidery in form of a painting etc. I have done 2D animation too. I have always dreamed of giving movement to my paintings and that is yet to come. However, you will see movement in the form of strokes in my paintings. On my website you will find a collection of my original works, from vibrant acrylic paintings to creative portraits, embroidery, wood carving and illustrations. Each piece is created with love and dedication and is a reflection of my personal style and vision. I am always open to commissions and collaborations, so feel free to reach out to me with your ideas and projects. It brings me great joy to be able to share my art with the world and connect with fellow creatives. Please feel free to contact for Visual art classes or Art therapy sessions through any of my social networking sites on Facebook and Instagram. My website is Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope to inspire and add a little bit of beauty to your life.
