ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Gitana is a work in the series of batiks: "Alma Onírica", "oneiric soul". It is a pictorial project that addresses eroticism within the female mind, as a unique, private and intimate space. Where you can only access when you are in the reverie or semi-awake state and perhaps very lucky in the deepest sleep. For this reason I have chosen natural Chinese silk, the thinnest and most subtle, as a support to express the magic of feminine sensuality, during the period of sleep or reverie.
