I was born in Elgin, Scotland. I have been painting since 1980 and my work has featured in several regional exhibitions including the Ferens Gallery in Hull. The post-impressionists, especially Gaugin, inspired me to start painting. I prefer oils as they can do anything, as the history of art amply shows. I also do work in the digital sector including eCommerce, video and digital media.
