ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I always have inspiration from the world of "Alice in Wonderland" . This painting is of many from my series "Wonderland Whispers" while creating my painting. The image of the girl in a white dress with black hair, reminiscent of Alice, is a vivid reflection of this influence. Scenes from the magical world, where reality intertwines with fantasy, inspired the artist to incorporate mysterious and enchanting elements into her canvas. Large, swirling flowers in shades of blue and red imbue the composition with a sense of wonder, reminiscent of the strange and marvelous creatures from Lewis Carroll's work. The yellow sky in the background accentuates the airy and fantastical nature of the piece, while the viewer waits for the symbolic appearance of the rabbit, adds an element of mystery and imaginative play, as if the artist were inviting the viewer into her own magical realm.
