ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I worked hard, studied and trained in that November. By the end of autumn, I was feeling pretty tired. But I wanted to do EVERYTHING. But the power was gone. When there is no energy, it's time to have a break and think about the things that passed and that will come. So I began to meditation. Then the image of Hathor appeared to me, emerging from the pitch darkness, in a bright fiery dress, warming all living things, carrying the light of the sun. I made a sketch in my notebook and calmed down. I had another project in progress, so I didn't want to be distracted from it. But something was wrong, and my thoughts kept returning to Hathor. And I decided that such hints should not be ignored. And I was right. When I worked on that painting, I felt a huge surge of power and fiery energy. When the slushy winter was around, a new sun was born in my studio. Now I have decided to never give up working on images that are very vivid during meditation. Later I learned that next year would be the year of the Bull. And Hathor is the heavenly cow that gave birth to the sun! I really hope that this painting will find its home in the new year and warm it with its warmth, and give future owners love and fertility! Hathor- House of Horus, goddess of the Sky, Lady of Dendera. In ancient Egyptian mythology, she was revered as a heavenly cow that gave birth to the sun. Hathor bestows fertility, is revered as the mother goddess, the goddess of love. She and the goddess Taweret meet the dead on the threshold of the underworld. In the later period, she is identified with Isis.
