This piece is inspired by a series I am doing about people's interaction with one another inside restaurants and bars in urban areas. Most of the bars and restaurants I paint are in New York City. This piece is a whimsical play on this theme. A woman happily and hedonistic-ally pouring rose wine all over herself. It's rose season!! To the shock of her escort. I love the play on space and the light and dark, the claustrophobic feeling of light and color
