ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Concepts develop along a continuum- I was fascinated first by the Mars helicopter. I was equally wowed by the cicada invasion here in the Eastern U.S. Thought process- Flight= ingenuity= human and animal-game board an interesting symbol to me of structure and invention. just a fun exploration for me. Loved how one concept received another. These connections are the lifeblood of creativity "Higgs Bosun"- My model is named Higgs- an old Navy man, he was once a BOSUN. Couldn't resist the wordplay with Higgs BOSON and the scientific ideas involved with the later and my work- particles! CSN sang "We are all stardust."
