ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was inspired by the power of ocean waves crashing to shore. I layered washes, then collage, gouache and gesso to give lots of movement. It works well as a traditional style of watercolour painting framed and under glass, and scales well for a large canvas print, bringing ocean energy into a room.
