ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My father used to take us to this diner when I was a child. It had a mid-century modern style through-out and the food made it unforgettable. I really wanted to capture the personality of its facade and neon reflection from the pavement.

I started oil painting when I was about 6 (It helps when your older brother leaves his art supplies out). I received my bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History at Nazareth College in New York. My love of art took me to Florence Italy, to the study at Lorenzo de Medici Institute. I have been a member of the Rochester Art Club and exhibited with the Pacific Arts League. I love painting nature as much as I love exploring outdoors. If I am not painting I am usually busy hiking, fly fishing or kayaking. In my paintings I am trying to capture this connection with nature.
