Radu FOCSA artist figurative painter, colorist, landscaper, sculptor. His work navigates between dream and reality. Born in 1946 in Bucharest, Romania. My painting is devoted either to real or to imaginary themes because I am always sailing between both of them. I know the starting point but never the final destination. Painting drives me. I never run out of subjects but seldom is there enough time to express all of what I feel. Radu FOCSA now lives and paints in Gordes, in the Luberon and the workshop includes a public exhibition hall. Principal subjects, landscapes and nudes, oil paintings using a pallet knife. His wish is to capture light.
