ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This oil painting is depicted from one of the beautiful places not far from Montreal, where I used to live, in Cap-Staint-Jaque. I used to visit with my family and enjoy the scenery and the beautiful Canadian landscape. I named it "Holding on" because our lives can be very similar to the struggles of this tree, which is holding as much a possible with its roots to the ground and is not letting go. We are humans, sometimes hold on good and bad memories, like this tree and most of the time these memories are deep down like the roots of this tree within us.
