About the Artist

Zbigniew Gonciarz

Poland

Received an MFA in Fine Art and Design from Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland, 1984. Painting under prof. Jacek Sempoliński and prof. Jan Dziędziora. Scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and Arts. He worked for over twelve years as a car body designer for the automotive industry, then in his own graphic design and interior design studio. Painting was the area, that he practised at the same time. Currently engaged in every day painting at the easel in his Atelier of Destinies in the heart of Warsaw. Member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers [ZPAP]. He regularly participates in significant exhibitions. Works find place in private collections in the country as well as eg. Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, USA.
