About The Artwork
Loved the way the early morning sun was hitting this gate in someone's front yard. The overgrown flowers, weeds and picket fence were also hit by the low slanting sun. With the porch light on, it made me think of someone coming home after being away for a long time - which would be a positive, maybe sentimental, subject. But the neglected yard introduces some doubt as to whether it would be a happy homecoming or not. I leave it up to the viewer.
