ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting features a boat anchored to the shore of a pristine place. The twin trees on the left form a vertical element that balance the horizontal element of the boat. The boat represents the sense of accomplishment of a traveller who has just returned to his shore after much exploration. It speaks of stories he is brimming to share of the wonders he has seen in the lands unseen. The trees seem to be swayed by the onslaught of the arrival of the zestful boat and its traveller. The distant trees and the clouds are feeble, but seem to be in jubilation, with a rush and eagerness to hear from the traveller of the wonders of his travel!
