My goal in art is always connection. I have a restless mind and anxieties that make everyday life difficult. It's challenging to express thoughts on life, love, loss and hope in conversation, but creating artwork allows me to turn my inside outward. I'm grateful for art in all its forms. When words aren't enough-I create. Specializing in mixed media, I enjoy bringing elements onto the canvas that help express feeling. I use both wood and canvas as a base and pretty much anything goes as far as what I will put in and on the artwork. I studied visual art at the University of California, Los Angeles and my work has been shown throughout the United States. I will have pieces on display at The River in Rancho Mirage, CA starting in June.
