Takashi is an award-winning painter living in Yokohama. Born in 1953. He received his PhD in Mathematical Sciences, and was a professor at Shibaura Institute of Technology (Tokyo) from 2009 to 2019. Since 2004, he had 14 solo exhibitions at Gallery T-BOX (Tokyo), as well as other solo exhibitions at other galleries. His work were also exhibited at international exhibitions in Madrid, Spain in 2022 and Milan, Italy in 2021. His goal is to rethink painting and explore new ways to combine everyday objects and events to create dreamlike worlds. And for him, creating art is about expressing gratitude for all life. He aims to create a calm, heartwarming world that resonates deeply with the viewer. To achieve this, he uses a simple, semi-abstract style with muted colors.
