I am a painter of wildlife, landscapes and running, along with abstracts, working in acrylics from my Campbell studio in Northern California, where I was born and raised. In addition to landscapes from my bucket list soul yearning for travel to far off natural wonders, and wildlife in desperate need of conservation, I paint a series from the perspective of myself as a runner looking down at my running shoes, inspired by my experiences running outdoors on the Vasona Lake trail, the transformative nature running has had on my life, and how it has helped me cope with my depressions. Through my paintings, I share the depth of emotions behind these three passions (the yearning for awe-striking nature travel, the love and concern for animals, and the triumph and empowerment of running) with my collectors.
