After a career in advertising graphics, the artist developed an in-depth and systematic interest in contemporary art, particularly Pop Art and Neo-Expressionism, assimilating the styles, techniques, and visions of some of the most representative artists of these movements, particularly Jean Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, and Mario Schifano.
Piriongo currently belongs to the Neo-Pop movement, which developed in the early 20th century.
He considers art a form of expression that can be interpreted in any way. A curved line, a drop of paint, even a flawed stroke can move.
The intuition of art comes not only from observing a work,

a canvas or a sculpture, but from the perception one has of it, considering and experiencing it as something unique and special.
Piergiorgio moves eclectically in a dreamscape of infinite potential, in scenarios where the real and the surreal tend to converge. With his vibrant and simple universe, he primarily expresses a pop-digital soul.
With a high aesthetic sensibility, he weaves scenarios that envelop the viewer, projecting them into fantastical, colorful, and flowing worlds.
His neo-expressionist paintings are surreal and dreamlike, offering emotional and intellectual provocations on unseen aspects of reality. It is always an emotion that drives him to create; once the emotion has taken shape, the artist elaborates it and highlights it with color.
