American Fine Artist, Painter & Photographer Katherine Green was born in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and studied fine art at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her studio is in the Pacific Northwest. A classically trained fine artist, watercolor and oil painter, she travels the world to find her inspiration. Her work is sold through Opulent Gallery, prints at Turning Art and through her private agent. Katherine's process involves developing a concept from her photographs. She focuses on pastoral landscapes, nautical scenes, and culture. Katherine's goal is to capture an experience, the feeling of freedom, a place, or moment in time. Katherine's paintings and photographs have been sold widely to corporate America, banks, hospitals, and private patrons. She is a signature member of the "Northwest Watercolor Society" and she has been selected twice for "PONCHO's prestigious invitational collection. Katherine is currently considered a Pacific Northwest artist.
