I started drawing before I could talk. Drawings were my first expression of emotions. Most of the paintings of my childhood depicted imaginary worlds. Brush or pencil were my constant companions ever since. And now either of them is an extension of my right hand. I studied painting, graphics, history of art and costumes at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design/former Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry. I received my Bachelor's degree in Educational Arts and Master's degree in Fashion Design. Later I became engrossed in the world of fashion and worked as a fashion designer for 6 years. Then I took an interest in the restoration of art objects and the ancient technologies of icon paintings and became a student of the “Burning Bush” (the Neopalyma Kupyna) school of iconography, where I studied iconographic writing, restoration, miniature, jewelry setting, gesso carving and gesso casting. The most interesting thing for me is the preservation of ancient technologies and their combination with modern possibilities. To combine the experience of the past with the latest achievements, transform the icon into a modern image, while preserving the original message of our ancestors. Life is a huge and interesting experiment that I try to share in my works. Feeling of "goosebumps", projected onto modern realities. My works are in private collections in Europe and Ukraine, cathedrals in Ukraine.
