ABOUT THE ARTWORK
'Imagine' is a work of art with many different techniques and materials. The round canvas contains first a primer with silver, on which acrylic colors (filled, brushed and cast) are revealed. On the right side you can also see alcohol inks, which have been refined with a thick layer of epoxy resin. This resin does not cover the whole picture, but is rather distributed 'spot-like' in the right half. So it forms the focus and shines when you walk past the work. The two sides are connected by another mixed media element: a necklace that has been refined with gold beaten metal at certain points. All in all, it appeals to the human imagination. What can you imagine? Dream big, because it will be reflected in your life.
