About The Artwork
This colourful and expressive work was inspired by my love of flowers and flower gardens. My aim in this semi abstract floral was to capture the essence of flowers - their exuberance, their joyfulness and the feeling of peacefulness that they offer to anyone choosing to contemplate their beauty. I wanted to create fantastical, wild, wonderful and other-worldly flowers - much like the ones that might have blossomed in the Garden of Eden.
