The painting shows a man with his reflection. Both figures have a weapon in their hands, with the difference that the man in the reflection holds the weapon to his temple, while the standing person hesitates and does not know what to do with the weapon. The work shows the emotions of an unhappy person, where frustration and self-loathing have long since crossed a tolerable limit. The person in the painting is tormented by negative emotions, and the anger directed against himself drives him to suicide. The painting can also show the dark side of human nature, which wants our self-destruction and gets lost in depression and bad behavior patterns. On the other hand, the two weapons - one pointed at the temple, the other at the ceiling - can symbolize hope. They show that the final decision is ours, that we are the masters of our destiny. The coloring of the painting is in bold colors, giving a distinct undertone to the somber message of the work. The granite on the walls turns black in the mirror, adding to the impression of evil that shows itself in the mirror. The figure's skin is pale, indicating exhaustion and fatigue, while the clothes are grayish and sloppy, perfectly reflecting the hero's feelings. The painting can fit into the hallways of private homes or buildings of various institutions or companies. Everyone passing by the painting will think about himself and his feelings for himself.

My name is Jakub Bujak. I am a young, ambitious and positive artist. I am characterised by a unique style, individualism and above all by a high bar I set for myself. The world, nature and culture are for me a treasure trove of raw materials that I acquire, process and finally use for my own purposes. Feelings, emotions, imagination, intellect. My creative process is not supported by anything in particular. Probably by my subjective perspective, because that has always been with me. My creativity, supported by a unique perspective and powers of observation. For as long as I can remember I have been involved with visual art, it has been an inseparable part of my life and way of thinking. In this way I explore thoughts, feelings, imagination. With this form of expression I speak, shout and whisper. I like to say that I am a man of images, but above all of words. Broadly defined art is not an end in itself. I want to convey the greatest possible style, value and emotions. I do not know exactly how to define that in a sentence, but I certainly know how to portray it with a picture. For me, it's a natural form of expression. Complementary to my ego. I draw inspiration from stimuli, from what I pay attention to. Smell, taste, touch, sight, hearing, intuition. My paintings are eclectic. They vary depending on the project, theme and style I am exploring. "Image - Costume - Space" - The main idea is to represent sadness, loneliness, suffering and alienation in the environment of existence. To highlight the feeling that accompanies the life of a person in situations where he is on his own. The confrontation with the reality with which he is confronted. With a situation to which he has become accustomed, but in which he feels that something is wrong.
