ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This painting depicts a beautiful Indian woman in a pink sari holding a child in her arms. Similar images are familiar to people of all cultures as a woman with a child is sacred in many religions. How much love is in the way a mother holds her child in her arms...This image calms, comforts, and brings joy - it is a symbol of the continuation of life and it is always beautiful! This artwork was drawn from a sketch that I did during my expeditions to India. I bought a canvas and a stretcher from the local market and immediately began to paint. Therefore, when buying a painting, you have a chance to touch the real Indian aesthetics - despite the seeming unpretentiousness of the materials, the painting is stretched on a stretcher and executed perfectly. This painting is coated with acrylic styrene art varnish and is fade-resistant and easy to care for. I will send it carefully packed in a box with all the required documents attached.
