About The Artwork
This abstract painting was inspired by 15 hundred years history of Great silk road, the main artheria of trading, intercultural exchange, economic and social life, lasting for thousands of kilometres from East to West. Interesting that despite constantly changing routes, the Great silk way had still crossing Kyrgyzstan, my country, and kept it as The Mountain Gates Guardian. The endless caravans with all sorts of goods crossing mountains, steppes and deserts. When I was painting it, i imagined it in such a colorful manner with ancient petrogliphs from the rocks of Kyrgyzstan.
