Interiors 12 Print

This work belongs to the "Interiors" series that represent the spaces that I see from my house. Here I have incorporated a very fine white line stroke to create a new feeling in the space. It is like a glow or a reflection that comes out of the shape or the color field. I was interested in a subtle touch that vibrated on the canvas. I return to the thicker black line that holds the composition for me and that attracts objects and is also a shadow. The color palette is colder and I feel that the series is giving me clues to change. I think I am reaching a stage of investigation that I am ending it. I have enjoyed the things and the learning that it has left me. It is a work of abstract and minimalist geometric style. It is made of a coat of casein glue primer over the 100% raw cotton canvas and leaves the canvas perfectly covered and stretched to add the acrylic paint and then I put a premium gel base to set and preserve the paint better. The work is stretched on a wooden frame and is ready to hang. I like frameless work, but I let collectors decide if they prefer to add a frame.
