My friends gave me this beautiful bouquet of irises. I so wanted to convey the warmth of summer and the warmth of friendship that I decided to capture these flowers on canvas. The picture is painted in alla-prima style. The painting is in a single copy.

Nata Charivna is a Ukrainian artist living and working in the city of Dnepr. Charivna is translated from Ukrainian as magical, bewitching. “I fall in love with what I write. And through paintings I share with the world. The absence of unnecessary thoughts, dissolution in space and material is my main state in front of the canvas when I paint.” - this is how Nata Charivna describes the process of creating the work. The artist’s paintings can be divided into two stages: colorful, with rich colors and the period that began in 2024. At this time, the artist paints a lot of nature. Peace, tranquility and many complex colors appear in the paintings. The artist herself explains this transition by the fact that during this period she travels a lot around her country and enjoys the nature and beauty of Ukraine. “Happiness is here and now. Beauty is where we see it." Nata Charivna also creates scarves. First, she paints a picture on canvas, and then scarves are printed from it. The artist’s paintings take part in exhibitions. In 2024, a personal exhibition was opened at the Dnieper Art Museum.
