ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There is an island in Great Lake Sacandaga in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. It is near where my Aunt and Uncle have a cabin, and one morning, while visiting them, I went for a walk and painted this painting. The water was low at that time of year, revealing the long fingers of sandy beach that make up the island's shape. This piece is a small 6"x8" oil painting. It is painted on oil primed aluminum composite panel and comes unframed.
