My Instagram: stevejohnjordan I am an English born Artist from Brighton on the South Coast of England. Since a child I have loved to paint. Self taught, I create large, figurative paintings with a tale to tell.. always using bold colour. I draw my inspiration from dreams and fleetingly glimpsed scenes that wont let my imagination rest. In that respect, I don’t choose my subject matter, it chooses me. When painting, I always try to maintain the point of view of a child, that’s why, although I own a large easel, I often find myself working on the floor like an infant at play. My work has appeared on magazine covers and as album artwork. I have shown digitally in the Festival of Architecture and exhibited for many years in the Brighton Festival.
