I am a young Romanian artist living in London who tries to get to the core of oneself. Recently, all my work concentrated on the way I feel about life and its movements. I pay attention to the things, situations, and people who marked my way of being. Yet, on the center of my research are two big themes, the natural landscape, and the portrait. The landscape has always been close to my heart because it can stand for my inner self. I usually use the representation of nature as a sheet where I can scribble my thoughts, feelings and my memories. Furthermore, I am also interested in the study of portraits, a subject that enables me to learn about my social life. One of the best ways to get to know my outer self is to observe my reactions towards other people or my feelings about their actions. I believe that, in order to create original and valid artwork, one must have as a core source of inspiration his own life. Consequently, for me to get to that point when I create genuine personal art, I engage in self-examination through painting and graphic art.
