Hi, I'm SPARE, Sylvain Paré. I paint characters that are distinctive and singular. My new figuration is base on the “being and its spirit.” I define that approach as “portrait of timeless space of our thought.” For now I work on the series: The allegorical candour. I want to keep this particular link between the sketch of the pencil and the applied paint, without erasing all the pencil lines to keep a trace of it. Created by layers of paint and drawing lines. This figuration is tied to an abstraction, made with lines, shapes and colours, with an inner perspective of leaving an internal spiritual message to each of my characters and in the atmosphere that can be revealed.
