English born, based in Australia I received my art training in both countries., majoring in painting and ceramics. My studio is located in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast. I have used different mediums in my art practice including encaustic, collage, ceramic, inks, acrylics and oils and I am currently creating works from memories of English and Australian landscape. My work practice is intuitive. I do not make work from photographs, drawings, or plans of any kind. I just start and memory and mark making set me on a journey of layering marks and partial erasing until I feel the final combination of marks is cohesive. I have been exhibiting since my arrival from England in 1991 with over sixty shows and my work is held in private collections worldwide and in public collections in Brisbane and Gympie Queensland.
