This artwork, inspired by my journey through southern Africa , conveys the magic of a magical forest and a beautiful strong animal. About the Artist

Regina Diar

Thailand

After graduating university, I pursued my Asian lineage, leaving Europe to follow my passion & establish myself as an artist in Asia.
Throughout my life, I have believed that we have come from nature & ultimately return to nature. This theme is something I portray in my artwork, as humans are part of nature.

I grew up in Eastern Europe & throughout my upbringing I had a presence of European and Asian culture in my life.
As a young women I would often spend time with my grandparents at a summer house called Dacha in the country.
Surrounded by nature I found myself playing among the field flowers & forest trees, swimming in the lake and this connection to nature is what established my first works and love of art.
As I grew older, I carried this love whilst I attended art college and university. Learning and growing as an artist & also as a pianist.
After graduating university, I pursued my Asian lineage, leaving Europe to follow my passion & establish myself as an artist in Asia amongst beautiful nature.
Whilst continuing to grow as a women & artist, I have learnt local languages and culture and kept myself emersed in nature.
This has lead me to grow as a spiritual minimalist who has a strong connection to people and nature and this is what I now express through my recent works of art.
Humans are part of nature!
As am I, as are you, we are all part of nature ?
