That painting is reflecting the first lockdown in 2020. I couldn't go to work so I often found myself drawing or painting at home. I spent much more time there than since we have moved in this flat (it was nearly two years ago). So I had time to enjoy and discover the comfort of spending time in a cozy environment. I just really painted what was around me, still-lifes from what surrounded me at that time. Our plants, books, view from the window etc. That specific painting is a glass with my paint brushes. I painted in a quite expressive way so I could be free at least on my surface.
