SHIPPING AND RETURNS

The painting you see in my profile next to this one is Kate on the walk (big). The girl with a deer and the forest ghost. I liked that image so much, I made a copy - a bit different with two deer in symmetrical postures. Textile leaves and crocheted flowers are added for some 3d effect and "folkish"...

In my gallery, you will see all directions my art drove to. I will gradually add works ranging from drawings and illustrations through paintings, and assemblages to objects and digital works. I've been a painter for 30 years now, graduated from Nicolas Copernicus University, Toruń, Poland and Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen, Scotland. My last 'educational goal' was to gain a Ph.D. in visual arts in 2015. I was also a scholarship holder of The British Council (1995-96), the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2005, 2009), the Mayor of Toruń (2005, 2008), the Stellwerk Zollverein, Essen, Germany (2006) and the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (2021). For the past years, my theme in art has been mostly animal-related, especially the topic of normalizing cruelty towards animals. My works are often marked by the passage of time. I often use old canvases, repaint paintings, and make collages. I consider this an interesting effect of "aging" the work, a continuation in the process. My current artistic activities can be followed on the FB profile - Iwona Liegmann. I also invite you to the YT channel. www.youtube.com/ Love & peace.
