The kene is a pattern drawn by Peruvian amazonian women and they depict visions of energy. Kind of a labyrinth, like life. The stars and lighthouse, an old terracotta chimney, also guide the ship in its voyage.

I was born in September of 1963 in Buenos Aires under the sign of Libra. Since I was little I revered nature: the garden, Patagonia and the sea every year, where I stayed at family houses and explored forests and the dunes. Although my parents were agnostic I grew up in a Catholic atmosphere. During my adolescence I started reading spiritual literature: Buddhist, Sufi, Native American, Hindu, Taoist and Early Christianism. These texts and my love of nature, somehow announced and defined my travels in South and North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. They also shaped, along with geometry, my approach to image. I lived for some years in Patagonia, where my son was born. Now I live with my family in Victoria, Buenos Aires, where I paint and teach art classes. I also practise tai chi. I turned a hundred years old house in my home-studio that is a "U" with a garden in the middle, it reminds me of a cloister.
