Originally from New Zealand, I have been in the U.K. for 20 years now, after 18 years in London I relocated out to the lush Kent countryside where I paint in a studio at the bottom of the garden with my dog and 6 Music.
In my paintings I love the idea of recreating the physical memory of water, sunshine and light. I aim to capture in a single moment the exhilaration, the joy, the solitude or the tranquility of being in the water. I explore all manner of subjects in my work but I find the underlying connection of water seems to reoccur continuously.
