About The Artwork
A beautiful bright floral mixed media abstract painting on self stretched canvas. The colors suggest a feeling of fresh plants and flowers. This abstract is a mixed media painting for which I used acrylic colors and oil pastels. For protection I sealed it with a glossy varnish. The sides of the canvas are painted accordingly, that means red and orange. The work is signed on the front. I added a professional hanger so you just need a nail to hang it on the wall. The work is 50 x 50 x 1.5 cm/19.7 x 19.7 x 0.6 in.

ARTIST STATEMENT: Life is a largely subjective experience; but that subjective experience is my bridge to the objective world. And it’s this synthesis of the two that I am trying to capture. INSPIRATION AND PROCESS: I love experimenting and want to give my works an individual expression. I have two lines of work: I love painting almost (but not quite) realistic, somewhat utopian, nature images and on the other hand I really enjoy doing non-objective/abstract art. I am inspired by the beauty and power of natural phenomena, the mystery of nature, its colors and forms. Every painting is a one-of-a-kind work in which I try to combine feeling and thought. I work most of the time with acrylics but I also mix acrylics with other media such as oil pastel, soft pastel, spray paint, graphite and charcoal or ink. All materials I use, if canvas, paper or paints are of artist quality.
