Since I can remember, I have always been occupied with colors, shapes, and paint. Therefore, it seemed obvious to study at an art academy, where I obtained the title of Master of Arts. I work with many different painting techniques, including watercolor, oil, gouache, soft pastel, and new media.
I am immensely interested in humans, particularly in the psycho-social-spiritual aspect that is present in each of us, as well as in the universal forces that surround us. I believe that our humanity is connected by an invisible thread that exists beyond time, place, politics, and culture. Perhaps the pain and joy we experience are imprinted in our genetic memory, causing us to carry everything our ancestors have gone through within ourselves.
What I try to portray is humans as a continuum, where words and suggestive images are not necessary. Through symbolism, I communicate with the recipient. I believe that in each of us, there is a library of symbols available, but in many cases, it is unconsciously (forgotten?) picked up.
