About The Artwork
The work is inspired by a famous place in the Netherlands, know as the Kinderdijk. This is a typical scene in the Netherlands, with mills in front of a glowing colourful sky. Almost all the colors of the rainbow are used in this painting, to give it this final look. Oil on canvas is used as mediums to give it these bright and vibrant colours, behind the dark of the windmills and waterline. The piece is finished off with a Matt gloss varnish, for a lifelong protection. I hope the viewers will feel a sense of awe and amazement, and maybe a sense of pride looking at this beautiful dutch scene.
