ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This mixed media work was done primarily with Bombay India Ink and Acrylic paint on Illustration Board. There is also use of white gel pen and black pen. This work is based on our short time living in Coos Bay, Oregon. It really is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. My kids and I would often go out to the beaches in the afternoon, where you could count on it to be a little windy. They loved flying kites as they ran along the sand. This specific beach is known as Bastendorff beach.
