Dolores Gálvez holds a degree in Fine Arts (Painting) from the University of Vigo, Spain (1993-1998) and performed doctoral courses (Drawing and Printmaking) from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Pontevedra. In 1999 he was a finalist in the National Engraving in Madrid, for national awards Engraving. In 2000 is awarded the first prize in Madrid International Print "Carmen Arocena" for his work "Empty", being also a finalist for "Lucio Muñoz" the City of Madrid and obtained a second prize of painting at the Medical College Pontevedra. In 2001 he made his first solo exhibition in Madrid in the Gallery version and selected for various national and international exhibitions: Bienal de Vilanova da Cerveira (Portugal), Autumn Salon in Madrid and a new solo show, with the Xunta de Galicia , Unlimited Space Gallery in Porto (Portugal), then worked for the Atlantic Gallery in La Coruna. Screen Printing Center Lisbon Portuguese edit his prints and illustrated a folder with the poem by Manuel Maria, Galician writer. From the year 2007 began to make various project exhibition with art installations on public spaces in Madrid, La Coruna, Lugo and Santiago de Compostela. His contact with Sweden, opens a new field of research and makes a number of interventions with artwork and photography, digital works and art installations on various landscapes of Stockholm, and interventions neoclassical sculpture of Swedish artists. He is currently working with photography, digital work and public art interventions on the City of Culture in Santiago de Compostela.
