My passion for painting started when I was very young, but it wasn't until my children arrived that my love of art was reborn. Painting had been pushed aside for more important endeavors like playing basketball (at Colgate University, then professionally overseas), getting married, and starting a family. Most of my work these days focuses primarily on colorful abstracts with a newfound interest in epoxy resin art. Utilizing bold acrylics, both alone and mixed with various mediums, I try to evoke an emotional state or reaction with each piece of art. I want the viewer not to see something, but rather feel something. This is especially true with my resin art – resin has such an unpredictable nature that it is impossible to create something with exact specifications. It is completely organic, which leads to both unexpected and amazing results! I take great pride knowing that my art resides in homes in nearly every state from New York to Alaska.... and even the United Kingdom!
